John Glise served Tau Chapter at Penn State loyally for over 35 years. He first volunteered as a general board member, and then went on to serve as treasurer for over 20 years. John supported Tau through some very difficult times, including the loss of the Chapter in the late 1960’s and the fire that destroyed the shelter in 1980.

John was a member of Paxton Presbyterian Church, the Penn State Alumni Association, the Nittany Lion Club, the West Shore Country Club, Greater Harrisburg Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Harrisburg, and a board member of the Central Penn Multi List Association. He was also a former Republican state committeeman.

John is survived by his wife, Anita Ricento Glise; a daughter, Christina Glise Alt; a foster daughter, Susan Kent Allison; and a sister, Harriet Epler.
